OIDCx402 — Seamless payments for receiving digital credentials 🪪

Decentralized digital identity has gained significant traction over recent years, and we've been researching this space extensively. During the x402 hackathon, we developed a practical demonstration of how the x402 payment protocol can enhance OpenID Connect (OIDC) credential issuance workflows. Our implementation enables users to pay a small USDC amount to receive issued digital verifiable credentials. The demo showcases how micropayments can streamline credential issuance without the overhead of traditional payment and verification systems.
